Job Title: Executive Chef

Salary: ₦200,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

 The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage kitchen staff effectively.

 You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service, while also handling staffing, training, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of fresh, high-quality dishes.
- Coordinate tasks among kitchen cooks and staff.
- Implement and enforce hygiene policies and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment.
- Design innovative recipes, plan menus, and create appealing plate presentations.
- Assess staffing levels to meet operational, financial, and service goals.
- Recruit, hire, and train kitchen personnel, including cooks, food preparation workers, and dishwashers.
- Perform administrative duties such as inventory management, purchasing, and order tracking.
- Set and monitor performance standards for kitchen staff to maintain efficiency.
- Gather feedback on food and service quality, addressing customer issues and complaints as necessary.

Requirements:

- Culinary education (4 years).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of professional culinary principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of human resource management in a kitchen setting.
- Proficient in back-of-house (BOH) systems, as well as ordering and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Availability to work on-call, shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
