A newly opened restaurant in Abuja is seeking to hire CHEF
The person most be good at Continental dishes to cook and also carry out the administrative responsibilities of the kitchen.
Job Brief
The chef is to be making meals based on orders for in-house guest and online orders and also creating new recipes,updating menu to meet up with modern continental standard and maintaining quality control.
pay: minimum of 50k
Work Schedule:Flexible shift
REQUIREMENTS
>Minimum of SSCE
>Must have work in a restaurant and understand food costing
>Must have minimum of 5years experience as a practical chef.
>Fluent in English.
> Medically fit
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare awesome meals as ordered by guest.
* Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes.
* Steam, grill, boil, bake or fry meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.
* Check food and ingredients for freshness.
* Arrange and garnish dishes.
* Work well under pressure and within the time limit.
* Ensure that kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned.
* Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc.
* Abel to handle work in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have a credible guarantor
N:B Chef will also be in full control of the kitchen without external interference so she must possess:
• Leadership and administrative skill
• Emotional intelligence
• Carrot-and-stick approach
• Innovative and creative
• Excellent culinary artist
